Production of vegetable Glycerin

Glycerin is considered chemically stable and is compatible with many other substances. This makes it suitable for many different applications:

Cosmetics and Personal Care
Glycerine is hygroscopic thanks to which it is an important component in cosmetics articles such as creams, gels and toothpastes. It keeps moisture and prevents from dehydration.

Food and Beverage
Glycerol serves as a humectant, solvent, and sweetener, and may help preserve foods. It is also used as filler, and as a thickening agent.

Industrial
Used as an antifreeze, lubricant and as a reactant in the production of dyes, paints, plastics, raisins and microchips.

Animal Feed
Keeps moisture in dry feed, improves the flavoring. Source of glucose.

Pharamaceuticals
Glycerol is used in medical, pharmaceutical and personal care preparations, often as a means of improving smoothness, providing lubrication, and as a humectant.
