MZ 1231DBR is a grain corn hybrid that features the VT Double PRO® trait, providing dual modes of action against above-ground insects such as the Corn Earworm and European Corn Borer. This hybrid has a Crop Heat Unit (CHU) rating of 2050 and a Relative Maturity (RM) of 72 days, making it suitable for various planting regions. The variety showcases strong early vigour, excellent stalk strength, and superior plant health, with a high test weight indicating good grain quality. It also has notable disease resistance, with high ratings against Anthracnose and Northern Corn Leaf Blight. The hybrid is tolerant to Roundup Ready® Corn 2 Technology System, enabling weed control through glyphosate tolerance.
