Cooling pads are placed vertically on the edges of the greenhouse. They feature independent irrigation and are combined with vertical ventilation that forces the air through the moist pads. Air is cooled by an adiabatic process.
The high pressure fog emits fine water droplets that evaporate when they come into contact with hot air, thus cooling the air.
Low pressure fog works according to the same principle but with larger and fewer droplets. As a result, moistening is higher. It is mainly used for sturdy plants that can withstand moisture on their leaves or fruits.
