Garratt - Model Norstar - Industries Grain Handling Bucket Elevators
Norstar commercial Bucket Elevators are built to perform even in the harshest conditions. We utilize heavy-gauge steel in our trunking, boot and head sections to ensure structural integrity. Norstar Bucket Elevators provide you with many options, they include, finish (Powder Coat, Galvanized and Stainless Steel), Variations of Distributors, Platforms, Support Towers, Catwalks, Staircases, and multiple types of Buckets.
Norstar commercial Bucket Elevators can be erected quickly (a leg over 100′ tall can often be lifted in one single crane lift), saving you time and money.
Norstar commercial Bucket Elevators are capable of moving products at capacities up to 60,000 BPH with single, double or triple wide bucket configurations depending on the specific requirements.
Our commercial trunking is built with heavy-gauge steel and all of our trunking seams are track welded instead of spot welded. This makes the trunking less susceptible to warp or damage and provides a much more weather-tight trunk.
Each of our elevators is shipped with heavy-duty connector plates that are installed between trunking sections to provide rigidity and ensure a square installation.
We use Goodyear SCOFR (static conductive, oil resistant & fire retardant) rubber belting instead of plastic/poly belts because it is more adaptive and flexible in a wide range of climates.
Norstar’s Winged Boot Pulley prevents material buildup on the pulley face. All of our models feature Clean-Out Doors that easily slide open to access the elevator boot floor for cleaning.
Norstar Bucket Elevator drives are fitted with heavy-duty bearings and heavy-duty shafts. They also feature a heavy-duty shaft-mounted Dodge gearbox.
Norstar EZ-FLOW™ Bucket Elevators are designed specifically for the seed industry. A special chain and bucket design allows the seed to be conveyed vertically and slowly dumped at the desired discharge point, eliminating unnecessary impact on the seed.
