Intimidator - Model 12XC -Towable Drum Style Chipper
The Intimidator 12XC is a towable, drum-style wood chipper designed to efficiently process tree trimmings, limbs, and brush. It features a 15 ¾ inch diameter single top feed wheel that pulls in and compresses stubborn branches, directing them towards a two-knife drum for cutting. The chipper includes adjustable side-mounted down pressure springs, with an optional hydraulic lift cylinder to further enhance productivity by reducing pre-processing of material. Its 20-inch diameter by 13 ¼ inch wide drum is built with durable materials backed by a 5-year warranty. Enhanced chipping power is achieved through the 'Power Slot', which increases airflow and facilitates unplugging when necessary. The 12XC is available with Mitsubishi gas engines or Kohler diesel engines, both in 49 or 74 horsepower. These engines engage the drum via an automatic or NACD spring-loaded clutch, depending on the engine type.A durable 20” diameter x 13 ¼” wide two-knife drum is standard with the fabricated components backed by a 5-year “GUTS” warranty. To assist with enhanced chipping throwing power, a slot called the “Power Slot” is located on the front side of the drum housing allowing for increased air flow or in the event of machine plugging significantly simplifying the unplugging process.
The 12XC is available with Mitsubishi gas engine options in 49 or 74 horsepower. If your preference is diesel, Kohler 49 or 74 horsepower diesel engines are also offered. Depending on the engine, the drum is engaged by an auto or NACD spring-loaded clutch.
