Bioreactor for natural disinfection of irrigation water without chemicals. Substrate cultivation has many advantages. The plants are easier to control for growers in greenhouse horticulture. We struggle in horticulture with different types of pathogens that can cause root diseases. Diseases are the main reasons for the losses. These diseases are often contagious. There are several ways to deal with the diseases. In the cultivation of plants, the growers often opt for the total disinfection of soil life. But there is a new strategy that is much more advanced and that keeps plants healthier. This system improves the oxygen consumption in the water and ensures that the oxygen is absorbed by micro-organisms. Agrona recommends the BioReactor for optimal water quality. Where to place
In order to make optimal use of the ABR system, it is recommended to place it in front of the water storage tank. This always treats the water that comes out of the irrigation system. The water first goes to the bioreactor, then back to the daily supply and then to cultivation. This way, the oxygen-rich water eventually ends up at the roots and crops can become stronger and more resistant. The beneficial bacteria will then multiply. This no longer gives contamination a chance.

When water is involved, it is often necessary to make the soil healthier and give micro-organisms a chance.
