JacobPush-in Pipes

SHARE

Push-in pipes should only be used in cases where length adjustment is necessary. Due to their design, push-in pipes are not shock explosion proof. The easy solution for creating special lengths on site within a modular system. Push-in pipes are available in different lengths and are fitted with a ring seal. They are inserted into a welded pipe as far as required and then fixed in place with a pull-ring. The push-in pipe should be inserted at least 50 mm into the straight pipe, and the minimum length that is bridged is 45 mm. The easiest way of creating a special length – without sawing, welding or lip flanging!

Push-in pipes are not telescopic pipes that can be adjusted during operation. When push-in pipes are installed horizontally, support must be provided directly on the pipe before or the pipe after the push-in pipe. In vertical pipework, the pipe under the push-in pipe must be supported. Use in pipework conveying foodstuffs is not recommended.
