For the past 48 years, we have earned and maintained the trust and respect of BWS customers who work in the agriculture sector, oil fields, construction, equipment and machinery moving, forestry, road building, nuclear transportation and private contracting industries.

Originally BWS was a manufacturer of custom trailers with a focus on forestry. Having built a solid reputation in this rough off-road industry and operating in the tough Canadian winters, BWS continues to manufacture trailers that are designed to meet the customer’s expectations in the environment in which they operate.

Over the years, our product lines expanded into areas where we felt were in need of innovative, high quality solutions that also deliver value. There are some commodity markets we have chosen not to participate in; enabling us to deliver industry leading solutions to our core product customers.

Randall McDougall purchased BWS from his father, Burney in 1993 and further extended the product lines available.

In 2000, BWS released the patented Air Detachable Gooseneck trailer and solidified our position in the industry by producing the 1st detachable gooseneck utilizing air power only. We continue to provide innovative solutions for all our customer sectors.

In 2012, BWS expanded their work space and productivity exponentially to a 200 000 sq. ft. facility on 39 acres. Maintaining the original work site for paint and finishing, the new factory houses a more constant flow and allowed production to be augmented for all involved.
