Frequent spreading without stress.

The storage buffer of the ROBO-BED is filled with approximately 200 liters of spreading material during the loading of the manure robot. Because of this the ROBO-BED has sufficient capacity for 120 cubicles on the basis of 10 liters of bedding per cubicle per day. The capacity can easily be expanded by providing several manure robots with a ROBO-BED. The manufacturer has therefore focused on the following three points of attention: Less stress for cows, daily spreading and labour relief.

Compatible with a regular manure robot

The ROBO-BED is built entirely out of stainless steel and can be mounted on every common manure robot. Because a manure robot has a fixed route and communicates this, the ROBO-BED knows exactly when cubicles come alongside. As soon as the ROBO-BED is empty, it stops, but the manure robot simply continues its standard cleaning route to the charging station. During the charging of the batteries the ROBO-BED is filled with spreading material (For example solid fraction from separated manure)

No obstacle for the manure robot

The ROBO-BED receives a signal from the manure robot when it must spread or when it should not. Furthermore, the ROBO-BED is a separate unit. The ROBO-Bed has its own battery, charger and can tilt forward independently of the manure robot when maintenance is required. The weight is very low, which means that the center of gravity of the ROBO-BED remains at the bottom. This prevents the risk of tipping.
