The VOLKAN 750 is a DEFRA ‘Type Approved’,easy to use, top- loading incinerator with 3different ‘Easy-Open’ door options: a full solid lidwith counterbalance, a split lid with counterbalanceoption to either side or the split lid with slidingdoors, providing clear access for ease of manualor mechanical loading. All controls are placedaway from the loading area to avoid damageby loading machinery. The VOLKAN 750 is ableto pre-heat the after-burner to the requiredtemperature before loading the carcass. Oncethe incinerator has been loaded, a burn programis selected and the incinerator can be leftunattended until the carcass reduces to ash. It ishighly efficient, utilising automatic high heat-rateburners, low thermal mass linings and timercontrols that ensure minimal running costs; athermostat triggers burner shut-off whenoptimum temperatures are reached, increasingfuel efficiency significantly. The model is alsodesigned to use the inherent fuel properties withinanimal fat that aid combustion. The VOLKAN 750is fitted with a secondary chamber for ABPR 1069/2009 EU legislation compliance and forcleaner emissions. Easily installed on site, it simplyrequires concrete hard-standing and a 240-voltelectricity & fuel supply. With a basic model burnrate of up to 50kg per hour*, the incinerator retainslow capacity status and requires no planningpermission for farm usage. A comprehensiveoperating, care & maintenance manual isprovided with each incinerator.

Waste Type and Burn Rate
Designed specifically for use by poultry farmers, sheep farm owners, pig farmers, abattoirs and for pet cremation. The incinerator will burn up to 50kg of waste per hour (up to 150kg burn-rate models are available for certain applications – call for details)

Construction
Mild steel welded fabrication consisting of sheet steel and structural section supports.

Lining
Monolithic high grade refractory concrete with high grade insulation backing.
BurnersFully automatic, high-efficiency burners with electronic ignition, flame recognition and combustion control devices fitted.

Loading – Ash removal
Manual ash removal from the primary chamber.(Ash doors are available on request).
