Arili - Latched Sprinkler Irrigation Pipes
It is the latest system developed by ARILI/PIPELIFE and is currently produced in diameters between Ø50 mm and Ø200 mm. This system, which is easy to disassemble and install, has already proven itself both in terms of its durability and its usefulness and aesthetics. All additional parts are available.
We call the system consisting of pipes with nozzles or heads that spray water in the form of fine droplets on the soil surface under a certain pressure, as rain. SPRINKLER IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
In this system, which is one of today`s modern and effective irrigation methods, water is sprayed into the air with a gun called "sprinkler", thus achieving an irrigation efficiency close to rain. In other methods, water is administered directly to the soil from the surface or subsoil.
The sprinkler system usually consists of more than one sprinkler. When more than one sprinkler is used, uniform irrigation is achieved by placing each sprinkler at predetermined intervals in the pipeline.
Sprinklers are operated by being mounted on an extension pipe connected to a spacer called Abot and placed on the pipeline. Thanks to the Ball Valve connected between the extension pipe and the sprinkler, the relevant sprinkler can be disabled whenever desired.
The sprinkler irrigation method, which has developed rapidly in our country in recent years, has the following advantages over other irrigation methods:
- Since there is no water loss in the system, maximum use of water is made even in places where irrigation water is low (3.5 lt/sec).
- Irrigation can be done in sloping, undulating areas without causing erosion.
- This; Since it is applied to the soil in fine particles like rain, it increases crop yield by 20-50% compared to other irrigation methods and improves quality.
- It eliminates the situation where the plant cannot rise above the soil due to the soil binding during seed germination. Savings in operating costs and labor are achieved.
- It is the most ideal irrigation system for low soil depth (shallow) and permeable soils.
- Particularly in places close to the sea, salt particles, dust and harmful insects left on plants by salt water carried by the wind can be washed away by sprinkling.
- Since it is possible to provide controlled water with sprinkler irrigation; It is the most suitable irrigation method in places with high ground water and drainage problems.
- Since there is no need for field ditches, the cultivation area increases and agricultural operations can be carried out easily.
- Soluble artificial fertilizers can be given to plants with irrigation water without the need for labor.
- Vegetables, citrus fruits, vineyards and other fruit trees can be protected from frost and heat.
