TruFlow - Model 24D - Lawn Drop Spreader

The TruFlow™ 24D is a push-type lawn drop spreader designed for operators to get into tight areas and spread dry topdressing materials. It was designed with landscaping contractors in mind and is built to handle any job. Our commercial drop spreaders can be used by homeowners for residential purposes as well. The 24D lawn drop spreader can spread materials with up to 30% moisture content.  Baseball coaches use 24D to spread infield mix on their baselines and for spot repairs on the turf areas. Synthetic turf installers use the 24D to spread sand and crumbed rubber on putting greens and for doing finish work on larger sports fields.

The TruFlow 24D lawn drop spreader function is simple: a four wheel stance, the front wheels are used for ground drive power, the operator will lean it onto the back wheels for transport without spreading. Fill the unit with dry topdressing material and tip it on its back two wheels to move it without spreading. When you arrive at the area you want to topdress, set the unit down on all four wheels and begin to push it. The forward wheels begin turning the dispersal drum and spread the material onto the surface in an even 22-24″ width. 

How do you know whether or not the material you want to spread will flow well through one of Earth & Turf’s lawn drop spreaders? Simply perform the moisture test. Materials must be dry enough to flow through your fingers when you pick up a handful. As long as the moisture content is 30% or less and the material passes the moisture test, you will be good to go.

What it spreads:

The TruFlow 24D only spreads material that has a moisture content up to 30%. A few materials commonly spread by the 24D include: infield mixes for baseball fields, calcined clay, sand, peat moss (when broken up), and crumbed rubber.

Powered By:

The push-type topdresser only needs you to push it. The forward wheels provide the power to turn the rotating drum and spread your topdressing material the width of the machine.

The TruFlow™ 24D has a wide variety of users like homeowners, baseball coaches and maintenance (NY Mets), synthetic turf installers, and broiler farmers to spread drying agents on wet chicken litter.

Ground Drive System:

The front wheel ground drive provides a positive drive for the dispersal drum.

Adjustable End-Gate:

The adjustable end-gate allows you to easily control the amount of material being applied from this push-type topdresser.

Four Wheel Stance:

The four wheel stance allows you to easily switch between transport and spreading materials.

Hopper:

The 3 cu. ft. hopper on the TruFlow 24D makes sure that you can spread for longer periods of time.
