Hamech - Model DF-140 and DF-240 - Log Rounding Machine

DF-140 and DF-240 rounding machine is used to produce round shaped logs (diameter range is from 40 to 150 mm for DF-140 and 150-250 mm for DF-240). Logs/poles after processing are used in construction, gardening and agriculture industries. They can be used in the land melioration.

The body of the rounding machine is rigid welded box. Basic parts of the machine are: a cutter -head set with a drive, material guide rolls with feed rolls mechanism.

Principle of DF-140 operation is to remove – using a cutter head - a layer of material to required diameter. The knives in a cutter head are stepped-adjusted. Logs go through the machine on rolls driven by chain transmission. The rolls are pressed down by pneumatic mechanism, rolls space adjustment is done by use of star-hand- wheel. Woodchips from the processing are removed through a chute (fastened to the body).
