Nutrient Profile
Microgreens can contain considerably higher levels of vitamins and carotenoids—about 5X greater—than their mature plant counterparts, according to the United States Department of Agriculture. Micro Kale in particular is a rich source of sulforaphane, a sulfur-rich compound studied for its antioxidant, detoxifying & disease prevention properties.
Growing Notes
Of the hundreds of Brassica varietals we have grown, this Micro Kale (Brassica oleracea) was selected for its mild flavor profile and resilient plant genetics. Grown in just a few short days, we optimized this varietal in our indoor growing environment to minimize the bitter notes and maximize sweet notes.
Ways to Enjoy
Have the whole container as a nutrient-packed, personal salad --simply open the container + enjoy - no washing needed. Add a heaping handful to boost any meal: dress up sandwiches + wraps, and top soups, snacks, smoothies + takeout. There’s no wrong way to enjoy our flavorful, nutritious Kale microgreens.
