Some products, especially delicate ones like strawberries or raspberries, must be packed manually to maintain high fruit quality. Automated packing could damage them, potentially leading to complaints from retail chains. To facilitate fast, efficient, and fruit-safe manual packing, we have developed a weighing station integrated with a scale (we also offer scales that can be installed on existing workstations.). The stations in our offer are designed for both dynamic and manual packing lines. A manual or dynamic packing line is used for precise weighing of fruits and other products, such as fish or fresh herbs, which are unsuitable for machine weighing due to their characteristics. To streamline the manual weighing process, we have developed a station with an integrated scale. A precise scale with manual or remote tare function features both a numerical indicator and light signals. LED lights inform the worker whether the package weight falls within the required range. Employees’ feedback suggests that under fatigue, light signals are more effective than numerical weight displays on a screen. All of this is designed to improve operator efficiency and reduce losses due to overweighing.
