Miscanthus Pellets

Miscanthus (Miscanthus X Gigantueus) is a tall C4 perennial woody grass of East Asia origin which has a high biomass yield. After 3 to 4 years miscanthus can be harvested early spring yielding approximately 15t dry matter per hectare. The crop has a useful life of 15 to 20 years and requires low inputs once established. Agri- Miscanthus Pellets are 8mm in diameter and have a very similar characteristics to Agri- Wheat Straw Pellets, whilst complying with all emissions regulations.
