Nicolas - Model Tornado - Tornado Plus -Vineyards
Strong of its knowledge in the vineyards, NICOLAS designed a simple and efficient sprayer to fit in every vine, 2 versions are available: Mounted Tornado made for small and medium size farms. With tanks of 400 or 600 liters capacity and a powerful 550mm diameter ventilation, this sprayer will give you access to high outputs and at the same time its small size gives a compact and maneuverable sprayer. Thanks to its compact frame design the Mounted Tornado has a good load transfer on the rear of the tractor to guarantee your security and improve traction.

Tornado Plus is a trailed sprayer with tank capacities of 600 or 800 liters and a powerful 550mm diameter ventilation to perfectly fit every modern vineyards. Its specific trailed frame was designed to improve the load transfer on the rear of the tractor resulting in a better traction. Its powerful ventilation will help you improve your spraying and moreover it has one of the lowest power requirements of the market to help you save fuel.
Willing to preserve the environment, NICOLAS fitted the Mounted Tornado and Tornado Plus with an integrated clean water tank. Its simple implementation system will helps you with the valves positionning so that no mistake is possible. NICOLAS offers you a large choice of regulation to perfectly fit each and every vineyard.

Frame
The TORNADO plus is based on a trailed frame designed to have a good load transfer to improve traction. The rear bumper protects the ventilation against any shock. Thanks to its compact design, this sprayer is maneuverable and can easily makes his way even threw the smallest vineyards. To improve its maneuverability the shaft and axle are adjustable to fit your needs. Willing to protect the pump and implementation from the weather and phyto product, NICOLAS designed a front hood. To increase your comfort, the TORNADO can be equipped with an articulated linkage and a axle elastic block suspension.
Tank
Available with tank of 600, 800 liters capacity, the TORNADO has an integrated clean water tank. The filling is done by the man hole of 400mm diameter at the top of the tank. To ease the reading of the gauge, NICOLAS placed it at the front of the sprayer so you can clearly see it from the cab.
A quality spraying is the result of a homogenous sprayed product, which is why the NICOLAS mixing system is ensured by two venturi at the bottom of the tank, it’s proportional to the level in the tank. To protect the user, a hand washing can of 15 liters capacity is available.
Pump
TORNADO is fitted with a 3 diaphragm – piston pump APS 51 for a maximum output of 50L/min.The range of NICOLAS sprayers receives a shaft transmission.
Implementation system / regulation
The NICOLAS ergonomic low pressure regulation is 100% constant pressure, its lever located at the front of the sprayer allows you to set a pressure depending on the application rate desired, your speed and the spraying equipment fitted on your sprayer.
The NICOLAS regulation with electric control is a 100% constant pressure regulation but you can set the pressure you desire from the cab thanks to an electric switch. You can set the different spraying parameters without getting out of the cab and change them while spraying.
The NICOLAS DPAE regulation automatically controls the application rate according to your speed, you just need to set your application rate in the on-board computer.On the screen of this computer you can see four informations to control your spraying in real time. This on-board computer also assists you in your settings to improve your spraying, it can save 15 different settings and has a spraying daily recorder.
