Oakfield - Model K -Closed Tube Soil Probes
The Closed Tube Soil Probe is a 36" closed-tube probe, perfect for avoiding cross contamination. It has an 11" soil tube that will keep the 3/4" diameter sample completely encased until you are ready for removal (outer diameter of the probe is 15/16"). The sample can easily be removed through the opening at the top of the tube. It includes a replaceable, screw-on Wet Soil Tip.
This one-piece probe offers a welded on footstep for easy insertion into the soil. A 5" handle is also welded on to the probe for convenience. As a single unit, it`s incredibly sturdy and there`s nothing to take apart, so it`s easy to grab and go.
Made with exceptional workmanship and materials, our soil probes are finely machined for smooth, easy sampling, and long-lasting durability. All Oakfield Apparatus soil tubes are constructed of high-grade nickel chrome plated steel for extra rust, tarnish and corrosion resistance. This probe fits all replaceble screw-on soil tips we offer so you can add tips depending on the soil and moisture conditions you`re sampling.
