xmAcHiNES - Model X100 UGV -Outdoor Unmanned Ground Vehicle for Robotics and Autonomy Research
The X100 UGV by xmAcHiNES is an advanced Unmanned Ground Vehicle designed for robotics and autonomy research. This mobile robot platform is optimized for universities and enterprises involved in the development and testing of new robotics applications and algorithms. The X100 features a robust steel chassis, a smooth calibrated drivetrain, and pneumatic lug-tread tires, ensuring durability and performance across different terrains. Its compact and portable design, along with the support for the Robot Operating System (ROS), makes it highly adaptable for a wide array of research fields including space, construction, mining, and farming. The vehicle is equipped with a variety of sensors and the option to add additional ones, enhancing its capability for various high-tech applications such as delivery robots and self-driving cars. Key features include a payload capacity of 75 kg, a 7-inch touch screen, a nominal runtime of 4 hours, and the ability to hot-swap batteries for uninterrupted operation. The low center of gravity in its chassis design offers stability and allows for flexible payload configurations. Additionally, it houses a powerful Nvidia Xavier NX computer for intensive machine learning and machine vision applications, supporting rapid prototyping and deployment of new technologies.
A versatile Mobile Robot for Research
X100 UGV, our state-of-the-art Unmanned Ground Vehicle platform is the perfect way to develop and test new robotics applications and algorithms with ease. From its rugged steel chassis, smooth calibrated drive train, and pneumatic lug-tread tires, to its compact size and portable formfactor, X100 is the perfect mobile robot platform for universities and enterprises to test new robotics applications and algorithms. Our ROS supported API makes it a versatile mobile robot platform for research and development in space, construction, mining, farming, and delivery robotics.
Batteries
Two sets of batteries are provided with X100 by default, one would be in the Robot while the other on charge. These batteries can be hot-swapped in just a few seconds without having to turn off the robot. This allows for extended use and uninterrupted operation of the robot.
Payloads
The unique design of the robot chassis allows the user to mount payloads on the top, backside and front side of the robot without compromising its stability. The chassis is designed with a low center of gravity that helps keep the robot stable and secure with different payload sizes and configurations allowing for maximum flexibility when deploying payloads on the robot.
Mechanical
Rugged Multi Terrain Platform
X100 is built out of high quality stainless steel which withstands harshest terrain. The 4 individually driven wheels along with lug-tread tires and powerful motors gives X100 ample torque to move in challenging terrain.
