Link4 Corporation - Pearl Controller for Greenhouse Management
The Pearl Controller, designed by Link4 Corporation, is engineered to enhance greenhouse management by accommodating over 100 inputs and outputs through customizable expansion modules. It supports a variety of control types, including On/Off for valves, Proportional for vents, and Analog for VFD fans. A significant feature is its use of Modbus communication which allows for up to 4,000 feet of daisy-chained connections, reducing wiring complexity compared to conventional methods. These modules can be efficiently mounted on a DIN rail or distributed as per facility requirements. The design supports easy module integration with the Link4 Bus system, ensuring neat installations, while external connections are managed via plugs. Additionally, it is compatible with sensors operating on a 0-10V scale. This allows for precise environmental monitoring and management, promoting efficient environmental control. In conjunction with Link4's cloud-based control systems and sensors, users can optimize crop growth conditions remotely.
The Pearl can accomodate over 100 inputs and outputs, through expansion modules. We have a selection of modules available to meet your custom needs. On/Off (valve), Proportional (Vent) or Analog (VFD Fan) can all be easily handled. And when your system changes, modules can be added, removed, or reconfigured to meet your new needs.
The Pearl uses Modbus to communicate to the modules, giving a total of 4,000 feet of daisy-chained connections to accommodate the needs of your greenhouse. Note the importance of daisy-chained. This is far less wiring than home runs!
Modules can be mounted on a DIN rail in your main contactor panel, or distributed around the facility where and as needed. When mounted on the DIN rail, the modules simply plug in to the Link4 Bus which is a part of the DIN. It makes for a very clean installation! And all of the external connections are handled with plugs, rather than directly connected to the module.
Link4 offers a wide assortment of sensors, but any sensor that reports through 0-10V can be interfaced with our input modules.
