Htech - Model PVD_01 -Peeled Onion Washer
Submerging tank designed for washing of peeled onion bulbs from the aggressive juices and remians of waste and skin.
Freshly peeled onions loses an amount of sticky and aggressive juice, removal of which makes the next stages of processing and packing easier and has positive effect on the life of following machinery.
The modular belt is equipped with stainless steel rake barriers that push the onion bulbs underneath the water surface. The onions are then moved on to the exit opening where it is washed by a flow of water from a clean water tank. Upon request the washer can be equipped with a clean water jet system to wash the onions on the exit grid one last time.
Machine is made of stainless steel and anti-corrosion materials. It is designed to process about 1 ton of onions an hour.
