Pietrucha - Earth Anchors

The Pietrucha Group comprehensive product range  includes also earth anchors that may be used in a wide range of projects. In the case of structures using sheet piling, earth anchors work with the surrounding soil where the top plate of the sheet piling is "fixed" in the soil using a steel or concrete abutment plate, buried at a suitable distance from the sheet piling and connected to it with a bar tendon. The major limitation in the use of such a design, i.e. the necessity to dig a large trench into which the abutment plate is placed, was solved by using an abutment plate with an elongated shape and driving it without serious interference into the ground.
