Todd Fish - Model Oyster - Pod Vertical Stack Purification System
There are a number of benefits of the Oyster Pod purification system including a very small footprint so users can purify more bivalves in a smaller space.
It is the most energy efficient bivalve system so costs less to operate. The seawater needs to be removed between purification cycles and with this stacking system it is simply drained to the sump tank at the turn of a valve (no messing about with extra tanks and siphons with this design!).
The Oyster Pod system uses many of the innovations of our multi award winning and patented Lobster Pod holding system making it a clever and unique system.

The Oyster Pod unit is a turn-key system and can be delivered by pallet courier across the UK (and can be shipped worldwide).
Mussels tend to try to climb out of the trays and any escapees should be discarded so they are best purified in our purification tanks.
Bespoke Oyster Pod systems are available and we have made 6 tray (750 oyster capacity) and 7 tray (875 oyster capacity) versions.
All of our systems use single phase electrics. They are all energy efficient, use quality materials which are safe for shellfish and all electrics are IP rated.
