The principle of operation and stages of the device are as follows:

Principle of operation:

The unit uses a rotating woven wire mesh to separate materials by size. This process allows large contaminants and fine particles to be separated from the grain, directing them to appropriate receivers.

Sequence of action:

1. Feeding grain onto the net:
   • The grain lands on the lower part of a rotating woven wire mesh.
   • The material is evenly distributed over the mesh surface.
2. Grain movement:
   • The grain moves up the mesh as a result of its rotation.
   • Fine particles pass through the mesh, separating according to size.
3. Separation of large contaminants:
   • Large contaminants that cannot pass through the mesh are automatically thrown into receiving hoppers.
   • These contaminants are then directed to a waste tank or sedimentation cyclone for disposal.
4. Moving cleaned grain:
   • Grain cleaned of large impurities goes to the receiving hopper.
   • It can then be transferred to an ISM separator tank or other device for further processing.
