BAC - Pusher Blades
B.A. Caulkett pusher blades or grain pushers are designed and manufactured to meet your exact site and operation requirements.
Over the years we have found that almost every customer requires design elements specific to them. This could be an extra long boom, perhaps they need an over size pusher, or even an over specification heavy design construction to cope with the substrate being moved
Our sectional pusher attachments are manufactured to any length or blade size to suit your specific requirements and can be used on a variety of applications, for example grain, fertiliser, coal and biomass.
- Standard 2500mm blade
- Comes complete with weld on wear edge
- Optional bolt on wear edge
- Optional “Rubber” floor protection edge
- Length and width completely customisable to your application
- Trash guard option available
- Typical applications
- Grain Pusher
- Waste Pusher
- Biomass Pusher
BA Caulkett pusher attachments or grain pushers are designed and manufactured to meet your exact site and operation requirements. Over the years we have found that almost every customer requires design elements specific to them.
This could be an extra long boom, perhaps they need an over size pusher, or even an over specification heavy design construction to cope with the substrate being moved.
The following features may be applicable to a pusher attachment. For grain pushers design elements can be incorporated to reduce areas where grain may be trapped or lost thus ensuring the maximum grain stays in the store. Some sites need pusher attachments of a larger length for certain applications or at specific times of the year.
To facilitate this extension components can be incorporated allowing the extra length to be gained when required, without compromising day to day activities by having an over sized pusher attachment . Where applications require Nylon edges on pusher blades can be incorporated to offer both pusher attachment and floor surface protection.
The benefits of a tubular pusher blade compared to a sectional version.
Both tubular pusher blades and sectional pusher blades can be effective tools for pushing and moving materials with a loader. However, there are some benefits to using a tubular pusher blade over a sectional version, including:
- Durability: Tubular pusher blades are typically made from a single piece of high-strength steel tubing, making them more durable and resistant to bending or breaking than sectional blades.
- Strength: Because they are made from a single piece of tubing, tubular pusher blades have greater strength and rigidity than sectional blades, allowing them to more easily push large volumes of material.
- Ease of maintenance: Tubular pusher blades have fewer joints and moving parts than sectional blades, making them easier to maintain and repair in the event of damage.
- Efficiency: The design of a tubular pusher blade typically allows for more efficient pushing and movement of materials, as the single, curved blade shape is optimized for this purpose.
- Reduced material spillage: The tubular blade shape allows for more efficient and effective movement of materials, reducing the risk of spillage or loss of material during transport.
- Compatibility with quick hitch brackets: Tubular pusher blades are often designed to be compatible with quick hitch brackets, allowing for easy and quick attachment and detachment from the loader arms.
Overall, the use of a tubular pusher blade can provide greater durability, strength, and efficiency compared to a sectional blade, making it a better choice for heavy-duty pushing and movement of materials. However, the specific needs and requirements of the job should be considered when choosing between these two options.
