Redwood Redco - SAF Split-Block Bearing Housings
For decades, Redco™ has produced reliable, performance-driven replacement inserts for the SN bearing system. In larger sizes where loads are heavier, or shock & impact is more severe, the larger split-block SAF housings bear heavier loads with the same outstanding wear and impact resistance.
SAF Bearing Inserts are designed for fast, simple installation in the field. Their split design easily installs within existing SAF housings, without the need to remove line shafts where this would be cost prohibitive. Maintenance is as simple as routine greasing through the standard housing fittings.
Available in a range of common shaft sizes, these split inserts have a straight-bore design for better axial location and because there are no moving parts and the material is naturally corrosion resistant it reduces the need to seal the bearing.
Made from Redco™ 750 engineered polymer, proven for as an exceptional alternative to brass, bronze or Babbitt bearing materials. Resistant to vibration, shock and impact, Redco™ 750 displays exceptional wear life and corrosion resistance.
