AgBiTech Magnet for Bollgard -Ā Model 3 RMP -Resistance Management Plan for Cotton crop

SHARE

Bollgard 3 Cotton crops that are not defoliated by the end of March are required to undertake mechanical pupae control as part of their RMP (excluding Central Queensland).  Three applications of Magnet, applied to the cotton crop no earlier than the 10th of February and no later than the 1st of March can exempt growers from having to mechanically control over-wintering larvae.  Magnet can remove the moths that lay the eggs which in turn become larvae and then pupae under the crop.
