Enduro - Model AS 980 -Ride-on Mowers
The AS 980 Enduro achieves work rates up to 10,000 m² per hour, thanks to a high-performance 724 ccm Briggs & Stratton engine with a maximum of 24 hp and a 98 cm cutting width. The mower deck’s side discharge and blade bar with firmly bolted pendulum-bearing blades offer protection in case of collision, as the blades fold back rather than suffering greater damage. In any case, the reversible double-sided blades are replaceable. Like its little brother the AS 915 Enduro, the AS 980 Enduro’s mowing unit is switched on via a solenoid blade clutch with the added benefit of a factory equipped mulch kit for excellent mowing results.
Cutting heights can be adjusted from 35–135 cm, and the AS 980 Enduro can handle grass and dense growth up to 1.3 meters high.Hydrostatic transmission allows the precise adaptation of speed to match the terrain, reaching 11.5 km/h and 9.5 km/h in reverse while a limited slip differential can be activated via a foot pedal in difficult conditions. The mowing unit switches off automatically via a mechanical blade clutch when in park and the parking brake can also be activated via the brake pedal.The AS 980 Enduro’s long frame, length-adjustable bucket seat and factory-installed seat spring package provide improved operator comfort, while a smooth steering system guarantees fatigue-free work.A 15-litre tank means longer work periods without refueling. The AS 980 Enduro is suited for working on slopes in some conditions, thanks to the engine’s oil and fuel pump.
