Caroni - Sheet Metal Pressing

Mechanical and hydraulic presses up to 1500 tons oversee all kinds of cold sheet metal work: from the simplest drawing processes to deep pressing and embossing, capable of working with materials ranging from 0.2 mm to 5 or 6 mm thick, depending on the complexity of the piece to be produced. Another noteworthy feature is an entirely robot-operated line of 6 presses in series for production of large quantities of components. Automatic machines, robots and highly specialized technicians perform projection tack welding, spot welding and submerged arc welding operations. Painting takes place in a brand new highly advanced and fully automatic painting plant.
