Hygiene.
Bintec silos are designed to ensure maximum food and feed hygiene. They are designed to be inaccessible to rodents and birds. The ventilation hoods on the roof are barred, the air outlet between the silo roof and wall on the eaves is bird-proof with the Birdstop system. An extra flat corrugation of the silo walls of 101/11 mm guarantees optimal cleanliness in the silo, minimizes the likelihood of moisture development and prevents beetle infestation.

Security.
Stable external supports and roof rings ensure optimal stability of the silo body when full and empty. All occurring forces are optimally intercepted. All silos have verifiable or tested statics according to the European EUROCODE standard. For the foundation, each silo comes with a sample foundation and reinforcement plan. This ensures a solid base and a secure stand for the silos right from the start. And that for decades.

Quality.
The Bintec silos are manufactured by Westeel in Canada according to ISO 9001, which guarantees high product and manufacturing quality. All silo parts are fully galvanized, the wall panels are computer-controlled and precisely bent to the respective silo curve, all screw holes are made for each silo panel in a single punching process. This ensures that the individual parts fit perfectly and reduces the silo assembly time to a minimum.

Accessibility.
For safe and easy access, all Bintec silos have a large, lockable access door measuring 0.8 x 1.2 m and a maintenance hatch on the roof. A ladder on the inner wall enables access to the full or partially full silo. A lockable vertical ladder on the outside of the silo provides access to the roof, a ladder with a railing leads to the filling dome. This guarantees authorized persons quick and safe access to all relevant points on the silo. The roof hatch on the filling dome can be easily opened and closed from the ground. The filling level of the silo can be checked from the ground using a filling level indicator.
