85 years of horticultural knowledge
Horticultural know-how takes time. Knowledge also needs to grow from seeds, take root, and blossom. As such, the expertise at Flier Systems was not gathered overnight. We have been closely involved with horticulture since 1931. Literally, because our first location in Barendrecht was a stone’s throw away from local growers.

When Berend Flier developed the first soil blocker in his forge in Barendrecht, the foundation was created for a long list of innovations. Berend devised and produced simple tools, helping local growers to work better, simpler and more efficiently. A lot has changed since then, but not the main principle. Management is now in its third generation, but we still work hard every day to deliver technological improvements and innovations.
