Many field crops, as well as field vegetables, will benefit from calcium during the growth phase. Optima Vigor+ contains a high concentration of calcium combined with nitrogen, magnesium, manganese and trace elements that are organically complexed. Leaf quality is improved and photosynthesis is optimised.
Optima Vigor+ was initially developed by Soiltech specifically for application in sugar beet cultivation to increase sugar yields. Calcium plays a crucial role in building cell walls and tissues. Magnesium, manganese and nitrogen are necessary for the formation of chlorophyll, which is essential for sugar production. After its success in sugar beet, Optima Vigor+ soon proved effective in other crops, such as potatoes, oilseed rape and field vegetables.
