INSTAR Robotics - Model Trooper -Spacing Robot for Nurseries

The Trooper is an innovative, fully electric and autonomous spacing robot designed specifically for nurseries. This advanced robot can handle up to 7 pots at a time, depending on their size, with a yield rate of 150 to 200 pots per hour. It is robustly built to operate both indoors and outdoors, enduring various weather conditions such as rain, dust, and sunlight. The Trooper features an intuitive interface for configuring tasks, and it automates the spacing of pots by transporting them between designated grab and drop points. Its operational abilities include a maximum working width of up to 12 meters and efficient obstacle navigation. The robot aims to reduce workforce expenses, lower the risk of musculoskeletal disorders for employees, and eliminate the need for seasonal workers. Additional options include interchangeable chargers and hands tailored to different pot sizes, an 'Easy Swap' battery system for prolonged operation, and adaptable drive wheels to enhance mobility.

1st step : Configure the task via an intuitive interface located at the back of the robot.

Simply select:

The pot model
Inter-pot spacing
The size of the rows (number of pots per row)

2nd step : Prepare the production bed

Mark off the production area by placing a line of plastic cones (1) on the ground with a spacing of approximately 2 meters
Move the robot to the start of the line and use the interface to record the drop point (2)
Move the robot to the location where the pots are dropped off and use the interface to register the grab point (3)

3rd step : An operator on a forklift collects the pots from the potting machine and then places them on the ground at the grab point (3).

4th step : The robot goes back and forth between the grab point (3) and the drop point (2) and performs the spacing in complete autonomy.

Finally : Go about your business. The robot alerts you when it’s finished.
