The Stalker Low Speed Sensor is designed to deliver accurate speed measurements in low speed scenarios, making it an ideal choice for industries such as mining, agriculture, and harbor operations. This sensor is capable of measuring speeds ranging from 0.1 mph to 70 mph while maintaining low power consumption and affordability. Its precision is within +/- 0.5 mph or +/-3% accuracy, depending on the speed range. Included in the developer kit are essential components such as a data/power interface box, a switching power supply with US/Euro plug sets, application and configuration files, a USB-to-serial (DB9) port adapter, and a 10-foot serial cable. The sensor mounts easily using the provided pole clamp. For ease of integration and configuration, the Stalker Sensor Wizard Application is included. This sensor supports various communications ports and operates within a voltage range of 10 to 45 volts DC. This reliability and flexibility make it suitable for field applications where environmental conditions may vary.
