Stoechas Subsp. Stoechas

(French Lavender) A compact lavender with purple flowers and short 'ears'; on very short flower stalks. Good in a pot. Height is just 45cm (18in) Probably the first lavender to be used fo its oil (circa AD60), although not widely used for this purpose today. NB: Prefers an acidic soil. Size: 9cm pot.
