Disc sheller, also known as Tooth plate sheller, has a wide range of applications. It is mainly used for the shelling of cottonseed and the crushing of other oilseeds (peanuts, soybeans, sunflower seeds and cake embryos). It makes use of the crushing effect between tooth surface and tooth plate to break the oil husk.
