Protec Aspirix Extrasorter - Model wt - Tomato, Whole Fruit and Vegetable Sorter
Using a high-precision electronic system, this line of machines sorts tomatoes, fruits or vegetablesof the color tone desired and, according to the applications, rejects from the flow of product those of unwanted color or foreign bodies if present. It has a wide variety of applications, from tomato, peeled products to chili peppers.
VISION SYSTEM
This line of sorters includes single vision systems, that examine the products from above, as well as double vision systems that examine the product also from below. Each vision unit has a brush operated cleaning system to wipe the optical unit at regular intervals.
REJECTION AND CONVEYOR SYSTEM
The proven conveyor belt system, in addition to flowing the product towards the optical inspection systems, moves it towards the rejection unit. The top quality electro-pneumatic palette rejection system has proved to be the most effective for medium size products. For smaller size products, rejection is performed by a powerful and precise jet of air.
MONITORING AND MAN-MACHINE INTERFACE
Using the simple and functional operator’s interface all the sorter’s parameters can be set and modified. The system’s mechanical and electronic functionality can be customized to meet customers’ needs.
The production capacity varies according to the system’s size: machines with width of 20, 30, 40, and 60 channels are available. Protec’s machines are designed to minimize maintenance; specifically, the vision units are independent, and to increase their reliability self-diagnostic functions warn the operator of developing problems. Our many installations worldwide allowed us to acquire the experience needed to keep Protec’s machines to keep pace with the industry’s requirements.
