With the Legacy-series we  lift the  previous NHS180ms from being a proven and extremely stabile, but outdated woodchipper, to a topmodern and  groundbreaking woodchipper. The most important themes in  the construction and  the birth of the Legacy machine is undoubtedly usability and effeciency. The main targets is rental companies, municipalities  and simular institutions with emphasis on, and interests in, simple and user friendly operation of the machine, with daily changing operators. Also Landscapers and Tree specialists, with emphasis on a reliable and effective machine. Common to the main targets is an distinct need  for mobility.

Design:
With its futuristic, streamlined and compact look the Legacy attracts attention compared to the  
predecessor, and not least  amongst competitors. The focus is  on extremely high usability, and comfort  during the daily usage,. This, both motivates the operator, and  also ensures the environment and safety, internal as well as the external .


Functions:
The machine is equipped  with newly devolped technology and software, which replaces the NHS InfoCon.
Based on well-known  and robust tecnique  for the mobile-industry the new NHS SmartCon
controlles:

  • Diesel engine (start, automatic speed-control and stop)
  • Engage system (engine/woodchipper, which automatically switches on/off)
  • Woodchipper (Anti-Stress system, hourt-counter and infeed/stop/return)
  • ECO-motion (energysaving sleep-funktion)
  • Emergency stop og Reset.

NHS Legacy comes as standard as turnable +/- 45° from driving position på type-approved trailer (Alko)


The woodchipper:
The woodchipper itself is 100% based on  the well-known and extremely effective, robust and reliable
NHS 180-series (produced more than 15 years, with small modernizing adjustments)
This guarantees that you will get a  functional machine, despite the profound changes that the Legacy signals.

NHS 180mw is delivered standard with EasyCut® chipping disc [8/14 mm. blade projection], and as an option with with RoughCut chipping disc, which produces a coarser chip quality [25 mm. blade projection]
