Tough synthetic fibers combined with superior adhesion concentrate high strength in fewer plies, giving a belt with less weight and thickness than conventional multiple-ply belting. Federal Grain provides flexible load support (essential for deep-trough conveyors), efficient splicing capabilities and high bucket holding strength in leg service using plied belting. Covers are chemically bonded to the carcass for maximum resistance to delamination. Smooth rubber covers on both sides (at least 1/32-inch thick) minimizes noise levels at high speeds for quiet operation.
