Flier Systems, in cooperation with Florensis, has developed a unique machine for the uniform filling of trays with soil: The Tray Filler TF41. In addition to the production of ultra-homogenous plugs, the TF41 can realise a substantial increase in capacity of up to 40%. The Tray Filler TF41 produces an ultra-homogenous, hard, yet airy plug. Since this allows the plants to germinate more equally, it generates an enormous improvement in quality and uniform crops. Besides, plug hardness is manually adjustable, enabling you to determine the desired hardness for each batch. This allows you to respond to the desires of your customer even better. Plug handling is also strongly improved, as the plugs are strong enough for tray fixing, transplanting and sorting.
We developed entirely new filling technology for this unique tray filler. It allows the trays to be filled properly and homogenously.
- Ultra homogeneous plugs;
- Up to approximately 35% increase in capacity;
- Densely formed and porous plug (adjustable for each batch);
- Wet soil can be used for filling;
- Tolerance percentage of plugs <5%;
- The bottom of the plug can be more densely filled, which could benefit germination and the removal of the plug, for example when transplanting;
- Marginal tray weight tolerance;
- Easily adjustable for other tray sizes;
- Standalone or in a machine line;
- Capacity up to 1,000 trays an hour.
