Triethanolamine is a hygroscopic material with liquid Ammonical odor. Triethanolamine is also known as a TEA, Trolamine, Tri ethylolamine & 2, 2- Nitrilotriethanol. Triethanolamine is used as intermediate in the manufacture of surface active agent, textile specialties, antirust compounds, waxes, polishes, herbicides, petroleum demulsifier, cement additives and cutting oils.
