1928

Federico Valducci is the founder of the company, He started with rainwater irrigation activity on a family owned agricultural area of about 200 hectares.

1936

GRILLO was born, the first irrigator in Italy equipped with reversing device, designed and manufactured by Valducci.

1938

The production of TURBOFERT, the great sprinklers further refined by Valducci in the post-war period.

1959

Guidobaldo Valducci, Federico’s brother, acquired the company, pushing it to be a leader in the irrigation sector in Italy and Europe.

1964

Valducci opened a new plant with fire-extinguishing system for lightweight and transportable pipes, designed for fixed installations.

1975

The company reached the peak of success in Italy and abroad, particularly in the following countries: Spain, Germany, Greece, France, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Portugal, Cyprus, Malta, Former Soviet Union, Japan, Australia, Philippines, Venezuela, Uruguay, Somalia, Ethiopia, Libya, Chile, Yemen and Cambodia.

80’s

More competitors entered the irrigation market which resulted high and aggressive rivalry. The market evolves towards the new drip irrigation technology, gradually abandoning the rainwater irrigation causing difficulties to adapt to current competitive technologies.

1999-2000

Valducci acquired the Tiger tape drip tape technology from the United States. However, knowing that Valducci had never been exposed to this technology and due to an insignificant demand in the European market, this has led to a faillure.

2006

A new group of international entrepreneurs acquired the Valducci brand and decides to invest in new production technologies.

2017

The company was reborn with a new business model of online sales ranging in innovative and high-performance drip irrigation products with the aim of making Valducci outstanding in the market.
