Methyl Esters are oleochemicals derived from vegetable feedstocks. SSI Methyl Ester products are great for lubrication product formulations. They provide lower friction coefficients and 20% less evaporation rates than mineral oils. SSI Methyl Ester products have a longer lifespan than mineral lubricants and show enhanced performance in applications where plant-derived lubricants have demonstrated efficiency improvements such as transmission systems. SSI Methyl Ester products are a great ingredient for metal working products as well as penetrants that can compete with WD-40 products.
