Delivery Service
We do not offer a remote ordering facility for deliveries. We prefer customers to visit the site & choose the exact plants, pots etc that they desire to have delivered. Delivery can then be arranged at the time of purchase in store. This avoids the disappointment of delivering something that does not meet the purchasers criteria & adds security to the purchaser that the items chosen by them, are indeed the items that are delivered.
Movement of your purchases from kerbside to garden is your responsibility.
If no-one is there to meet your delivery it will be returned to us and a new delivery date and charge will be arranged.
To qualify for our delivery service, there is a minimum spend amount of £25 per order.
Deliveries of compost, aggregates & mulches are limited to 15 bags per order as the weight of these products can exceed the capacity of our delivery vehicle. Acceptance of orders containing solely compost, aggregates, mulches etc will still be subject to scrutiny of our store manager. If it is deemed that our vehicle is overweight for any given delivery date, we reserve the right to cancel & re-shedule orders of this nature. Full re-funds will be available if an order is cancelled & alernate suitable delivery dates cannot be arranged.
Deliveries may not be ‘pooled’ or split. Each delivery is to a single address. If items are required to be delivered to more than one location, a delivery charge to each location is applicable.
We cannot give you an exact delivery time but all are usually between 9am and 3pm. On some occasions deliveries may be performed past 3pm if circumstances conspire against our best efforts. We will endeavour to inform you if this is likely to be the case.
Weekend deliveries are NOT available. At the moment we offer deliveries on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
PLEASE NOTE We are now inside the London Ultra Low Emissions Zone. We do not accept responsibility for the the payment of ULEZ fines issued to customers when visiting our establishment nor do we accept responsibility for ULEZ fines issued to customers returning faulty or unsuitable goods.
If you do not wish to use our delivery service, we will hold your order for a maximum of ten days from the day of purchase. You can then arrange your own pick up.
