External Funding & Partnership Support
`External Funding` is a term used to describe funding brought into a project from outside the project sponsoring organisation(s). It is a specialist area of work and is often utilised by public bodies such as Local Authorities who have specialist teams and individual`s eg European team, Regeneration teams. Most large public sector organisations and most large NGO`s are involved in these activities.
Key skills are:
- Knowledge of particular fund sources and mechanisms
- Project development and planning experience
- Business Plan writing skills
- Advocacy skills with good written and presentation skills
- Facilitation
Maslen`s were drawn in to this work from a background of project planning and implementation. Our skills were developed from on-the-ground project delivery of landscape and environmental projects, supplemented and supported by sound scientific and technical understanding of the environment.. We have a track record in successful delivery for Environment Agency and public sector agencies, and links with the EU network and North Sea area. We have a strong track record and the ability to shape, bring form to and simplify complex ideas, opportunities and desires into a coherent Project Plan.
