Numerous local authorities, other waste management companies, landscapers and commercial customers deliver direct to our site. We also provide a collection service to suit your requirements. Collection sizes range from 4 yard skips up to 110 cubic yard ejector trailers. Composting is a traditional, environmentally friendly and beneficial means of processing organic waste. All deliveries are inspected on arrival prior to acceptance. All materials are blended together and shredded through a slow speed green waste shredder. The shredded product is spread out in long windrows before being turned using a high capacity Backhus compost turner.

The composting process commences within 48 hours and temperatures of upto 65 degrees c are achieved, giving a high level of pathogen kill. The volume typically reduces by in the order of 40%. Regular turning in conjunction with detailed monitoring, allows a comprehensive management system to produce a high quality end product. The compost Association in conjunction with WRAP has established an accreditation scheme designed to encourage the highest standards. The scheme detailed as the BSI PAS100 quality assurance scheme is the highest accolade in the industry for which all standards are set.
