Livelihoods, Food Security and The Rural Economy

In the past ten years, international donors have paid much attention to detailed examination of the causes of poverty, especially in rural areas, and of the complex of measures needed to generate sustainable livelihoods. Since 1975 Landell Mills has worked in rural development, initially through agricultural development work, although we have now widened our services to address the holistic nature of food security and sustainable livelihoods work.
