Planning, tendering and site supervision
Geotex undertakes consulting work in the areas of earthworks and hydraulic and road construction, underground and hydraulic engineering. We are not involved in building or structural engineering in concrete, but will be glad to put you in touch with our competent business partners active in these fields.
We plan and draw up documentation for preliminary drafts and planning-permission and planning-approval schemes. Furthermore we draw up construction plans, construction specifications and service specifications, including bills of quantities. We examine and evaluate the bids and submit a recommendation for the bid to be selected.
During the construction phase we supervise the contractors and examine their invoices and their guarantee periods.
On request, Geotex develops alternative proposals in our "special disciplines":
- Planning and design of road works
- Supervision of laying and re-routing of cables along motorways
- Planning and design of road-drainage systems including the necessary retaining ponds
- Planning and design of urban sewage systems
- Planning and development of special construction methods using geosynthetics
