LEMZ supplies the following services to Buyers of LEMZ products: LEMZ renders technical assistance in the process of installation of the delivered equipment, performs start-up and adjustment work, carries out (together with the Buyer) site acceptance tests. LEMZ performs training of Buyer’s operational and repair personnel in rules of delivered equipment operating, maintenance and repair. The training includes a theoretical course and practical training. Within the frames of theoretical course trainees study the principles of radar operation and its design, rules of radar operating and maintenance, methods of troubleshooting. During the practical lessons trainees acquire practical skills in radar and other delivered equipment operating and maintenance. Personnel training can be performed either at LEMZ premises or on the Buyer’s territory.
- LEMZ performs warranty and after-warranty servicing of the delivered equipment. At Buyer’s request LEMZ sends to the places of radar use a team for technical support for agreed period of time.
- LEMZ performs any kinds of repair for delivered equipment either in places of radar use or at manufacturing enterprise (see also: ATC RADARS R Recovery work: and SPECIAL RADARS R MANUFACTURER’S REPAIR)
- LEMZ carries out modernisation of the earlier manufactured equipment (see “ATC RADARS” – Modernisation P-37 – Lira-1, “ATC RADARS” – Modernisation using “Utes” equipment – Special radars – Modernisation P-37 – 1L117″).
- LEMZ performs special changes of delivered equipment taking into account specific requirement of Buyers (interfacing with various systems, mounting of additional equipment etc.).
- LEMZ develops projects of equipping radar sites and projects aimed at creation of ATC centres in the interests of various consumers of information.
- LEMZ carries out at Buyer’s request a development of new specimens of equipment, which are within the LEMZ’s field of activity and necessary to a customer.
- LEMZ executes orders for manufacturing various articles under Customer’s documentation using production equipment available at LEMZ’s premises.
