Aware of the fundamental asset represented by its forest resources, thanks to its establishment in the heart of the Auvergne and Rhône-Alpes forests, MOULINVEST practices "zero waste" management on all of its forestry operations, from planting to cutting, in the compliance with PEFC principles.

The MOULINVEST group has thus carried out an ambitious program to recover waste from wood processing by creating MOULIN BOIS ENERGIE, an entity specializing in the production of heating pellets and electricity by cogeneration from biomass.

The MOULIN sawmill, the Group`s historical activity centre, manufactures and markets a wide range of structural wood, roofing, but also solid wood walls and profiles for wooden frame houses.

In 2011 TECHNICBOIS MOULIN took its first steps on the Eco-construction market with the MASSIFBOIS brand. The Chambaud site, near Dunières, has acquired high-tech HUNDEGGER equipment which makes it possible to produce nailed wooden panels, and also offers frame cutting, glued laminated wood, laminated wood and CLT (Cross laminated timber).

Finally, in 2013 MOULINVEST acquired France bois Imprégnés (FBI), a leader in the field of impregnation of power and telegraph poles. This strategic acquisition thus enables MOULINVEST to offer a wide range of technical solutions to ensure the durability of wood in all conditions. MOULINVEST took the opportunity to strengthen its range by integrating the DECOVERT brand dedicated to outdoor development products, stakes for arboriculture and viticulture, as well as products intended for the equestrian environment.
